It's RF interference between the lights and the digital cameras sensors...HID lights cause this pretty bad...to get good pics you don't want to be taking them under an HPS or MH bulbs light. Regular incandescent light is far better. My cell phone camera reacts very badly to this interference, to the point you can't really tell what you took a pic of...the regular digital, not so much and the video camera doesn't seem to mind it at all...that pic is not too bad, but some of my cell phone pics just look like a bumble bee close up....all you see are yellow and black bands! Try turning off the HID and using regular lighting for better photos.
