Since the the 20th century cannabis has been given laws like the tax stamp law that took place in 1937. This is that I find pretty good since they made cannabis illegal they also put the hemp in there. Hemp also known as the male cannabis plant canā??t produce a flower like the female plant. There is little to no thc in hemp. Now there reason this law came to be has many different myths but this is and has been the one I stuck by. So the act was not just aimed to cannabis but
passed in order to destroy the hemp industry. A business man by the name of Andrew Mellon invested in nylon with the help of Randolph Hearst In the du Pont company . Hemp was now being used to make paper now Mr. Mellon saw this as a threat the the timber and nylon industry. Since the invention of the decorticator hemp became a very cheap substitute for the paper pulp that was used in the newspaper industry. Just a thought I have had for awhile.
