First grow troubleshoot
Hello, just got my card and have begun my first grow. I ordered seeds and started germinating December 4. Was successful in germinating 11 of 13 (2 Big Bud 2 Super Silver Haze 3 Bubble gum 2 white widow 2 northern lights). They are in a 4' x 8' tent with 2 600w hps, 2 "intake airs" (fan at both ends of ducting, exterior pushing and interior drawing, and carbon filter (in-room) -> 6" inline -> 2 hoods -> same room that intake draws from. It is a large basement with three open rooms, so lot of room for that airflow to recycle, plus I have all three "box window" vents completely open, one in each of the basement rooms. The temperature outside the tent is 66-70 degrees, depending where my heat is set. The temperature inside the tent is between 72-85 degrees, depending on what speed the fans are at. I was thinking the fans were causing some problems, so I pulled them all down to 2 (from 3), increasing the heat a bit. Here are the main issues I've had (pics to follow). Looking for any advice. FYI I started nute-ing the plants with general organics line of 6 nutrient bottles about a week and half ago, and have done 4 feeds and 2 waters since (one of them light watering). I got a soil meter and right now most of them are dry up top and wet down below.
Problem #1 - Curling of leaves upward
Some of the plants have leaves that curl upward. They feel very papery (not super healthy but not bad looking) and generally have been closest plants to the fan, or with the most fan exposure. This is why I have lowered the strength of the fans. The issues are still there but it is still early I guess. Thinking about moving my one tower oscillating fan upward a bit (on a stool) so it doesn't hit the plants directly but still cools the room and moves air around.
Problem #2 - Yellow tipped leaves
On my super silver haze I just noticed today some yellow on the tips of the leaves. Does this mean it is too hot, or too close to the light? I say this because it is obviously the tallest plant being most sativa...
Problem #3 - Nutrient burn?
I think this is mainly from having nutrient water directly ON the leaf or the big leaves (Big Bud especially) laying on soil or the soil of another. Not too worried about it. An example of a yellowing spotted leave and an example of leaves that seem to be getting a strange darker green color and not as healthy as the rest.
And finally, a pic of the entire room. Thinking maybe I'll raise the lights and fans. Several of the plants don't seem to be reaching to the light the way they should...laying down more. Raise the lights?
Thanks for all your help in advance!

four feeds in a week and a half?? if your using factory specs you pobably have nute burn. so dont feed for a couple of weeks. try to keep temps at 65-75.

Raise the light a bit, make sure your PH is spot on. And unless your flowering, switch to a Metal Halide light, High Pressure Sodium is not the correct spectrum for vegetative growth.
The yellow tips on the leaves are a first sign of nute burn.
As for the blotches where water actually got on the leaf, you nailed the cause. Also keep in mind that a water drop will magnify the intensity of the light and cause burns.
Good luck and happy growing! :weedpoke:

Put something dark on the floor to prevent light below the plants. They do not expect bright light from below. I do not understand why these grow tents don't put a dark floor in....makes no sense
