Why is my leaf curled downwards?

I have a seedling only a few days old.
In miracle grow soil - in a plastic (NOT see-through) cup
Have been "Spraying" it with water ( spray bottle)

And the stem is there and there are two small pointy leafs comming in.
But the two small leafs that were there to break open the seed are curled downwards.

Does that mean I am watering too much and should ezz off on that?
    Or something else?

The first set of leaves (cotyledon) will usually turn yellow and wither as the seedling grows more nodes and sets of leaves. The plant will be supporting the new leaves/nodes needs instead of the cotyledons. I hope that eases your mind. I'm sure others might have some input to give you, as well.

If the cot's are turning yellow before the other leaves begin to grow out, id say you are over watering. Just water when its dry and keep a cfl over it. You really just need to make sure there is moisture in the soil and make sure the cup has holes in the bottom or the roots will not grow as there will be no oxygen in the soil, just mucky dirt. Also, good drainage through the medium is good so the water will flow through the cup and not stay in and stagnate there.
