Is this moldy weed? (with pic)

It's very dried out now, because its been around like 3-4 months, but I initially stopped using it because I thought the white spots were mold. However, they are in spots I wouldnt expect, like if i break off a little chunk, the part that was holding it on is white..

It's also been relatively untouched for a few months in a sterile glass jar - I assumed it drying out the white would disappear, but its the same as day 1.

First time ive ever come across something like this... anyone have any ideas?

(PS - The photo doesnt show as white as it actually is.. its a few shades whiter than whats seen)

Welcome to the boards and Merry Christmas.

I'm pretty sure that is bud mould. Once it is in the bud no matter how long you hold it and no matter how dry it becomes, it will always be there.
