400 Watt HPS Bob Marley's Lambs Bread grow log

I have had alot of experience growing outdoors but I recently decided to build a box in my room and grow inside. This is my second run indoors but my first posting to this forum. I'm running the Botanicare line of nutrients along with some other goodies. Here are my specs.

    Bulb: GE 400 watt HPS
Ballast: Sun System Galaxy 400 watt switchable
    Hood: XtraSun 6in air cooled
    Location: 33x33x72in Box in bedroom
    Grow Medium: Just Coir (coco)
Plants: 6x Bob Marley's Lambs Bread
    Day Temp: 72-75*F
    Night Temp: 65-70*F
Fan: 8in Booster on top of box

Nutrients for veg: Botanicare(pure blend pro veg, liquid karma, cal mag, sweet raw) Great white, super thrive

Nutrients for flower: Botanicare(pure blend pro bloom, liquid karma, cal mag, sweet raw, hydroplex) Great white

I am going to include some pics up till now so you can see what has been going on. On december 12th I transplanted the clones into 1 gal buckets full of coco. Heres a pic of them 2 days after the transplant on 12/14/10

This is a pic of my box from the outside. You can see i have ducting coming out of the side of the box going to the window for fresh air.

Here is the hood with the ducting and the plants on the 20th.

My plants have been growing very nicely. This is them on the 22nd just 8 days after the first pic and 10 days after transplant.

Everything is going well. I just topped the plants on the 22nd and they went into a bit of shock but are fine. Let me know what you think. I'll keep posting as things develop.

Its the 27th of December and i'm on day 15 of my grow. I fimed the tops and now have 3 to 4 stocks on each plant. The topping caused a bit of purpling of the stems but the plants seem to be ok. I think the plants might be suffering from a N overdose cause they are wilting a bit and i've checked everything else. I'm going to give them a watering with straight water tonight and try to flush out the N from the coco. Hopefully that helps. The plants look pretty good though even though they are a bit droopy from what i would like. They are growing nice and green with thick stocks and short inter nodal length. Heres a pic of them right now.

This is them on 12/27/10 15 days after transplant.

Here you can see where i topped/Fimed them.

ok so i took my plants out of my box for a few min and put about a gallon of water total through the 6 plants in the bathtub. They drained out real nice in there.

Heres a pic of them in the bathtub while they were being flushed. You can see in this light the plants look much darker like they should.

Heres a pic after they had been flushed. You can see the improvement from the pic i took ealier today posted above.

I'm pretty sure that the plants were having an N overdose cause they seem to be fine now. I'm reducing the amount of pure blend pro veg from 15ml per gallon to 12ml per gallon. That should help.

ok this is getting annoying. After the day cycle my plants keep getting droopy. I cant figure out whats wrong. The temps are anywhere from 72-77*F and my ph is balanced at 6.0. I gave the plants a watering with just straight water to see if maybe it was an N overdose but that didnt seem to work. I thought it was helping but i guess not. Does anyone have any ideas of what might be wrong? Heres some pics of the plants right now while they are droopy. someone let me know what you think.

someone please let me know what you think it might be. I wanna get this figured out asap.

    I'm confused?...:stoned:

It appears you said:.."I flushed in the tub...and then transplanted...and flushed again"

that's a lot of water....:wtf:...& they probably didn't need the transplant, yet?..is those pics before or after?...the transplant?

no i havnt transplanted them yet. I havnt wanted to cause the plants have been getting droopy during the day cycle. My friend says it happens when you veg under an HPS but i'm not sure. The plants bounce back after the night cycle though.

How far is your hood off the top of your plants? If they are bouncing back after their off cycle, almost sounds like too much light intensity or it's getting too warm.
