I have two ph pens and a dropped test kit, the three each tell me something different. I noticed recently that I've been putting in signigicantly increased amounts of ph down into my gallon water jug. Tap is comin out now as 8.8, used to be lower like 7.0 but I think that pens broken so I got another. This ones more accurate and consistant, and more expensive. To get down to 6.5 I added one tablespoon of ff grow big, and it went down to 8.4, then I had to add SO much ph down, I was like wtf?

So I tested with my dropped, and it turned BROGHT red, according to that bottle, means 4.0 or lower???????

Its hard to get accurate with the dropper test though, as its kinda like what the light in the room does to the color? Know what I mean?

I don't get it, they need food bad but I don't wanna make it worse, please help my ladies get pretty again.

Ps, I put in about 4ml of ph down? Dumped it out when dropper came back red.

Also, water I left out for testing purposes came back higher from 8.8 to almost 10.0, after a week of sitting out? Is this normal?

Filling out the form will get you more help.

Also if i were you id get some 4.0 calibration solution and calibrate your pen. Also get some Ph up and Ph down to make sure what you are putting in is at the right Ph. If its low you dont want it lower and could lock ya out. If i were you id flush 3 times the amount of water thought the soil, then add ph'ed water and then figure out the nutes. But get the trouble shooting form filled out, it will help the people you need to help you.

Good luck:rasta:
