should i even bother with nutes?
Fox farm bottles are full of shit, I've not used more than half a cap of grow big ever. Mixed. Into a gallon of ph'd water. Retested ph after adding nutes.
Sometimes I water twice without nutes then half cap nutes then water ect. Let them dry a few centimeters down before rewatering.

Hahaha, yeah duh. Those over there.
The problem is brown spots on one, twisted curling new growth on another, stem very long in one place and thin. Also growing slowly compared to last time? Using azamax, saw mites on one leaf, sprayed two nights in a row. Mites gone.
I have five plants in a 7x8. Ph'd at 6.6
.3 gal buckets, promix bx soil
Anyone ever heard of lollipopping? Cutting off lower arms to make theremaining plant grow with more focus on what's there? Friend menioned this. Second time growing.
have it at 75-85 f, 50% rel hum. 18/6 cycle
I feel like being 6 weeks old they should be bigger than 19 inches above the soil, and bulkier and Greener. ;(

Pics would help. But with only 5 posts, i'm not sure you can attach them.
However, I do know that you can make a "photo album" under your user name, and once you have the pics there, you can use the "BB" code to link them to threads!
You might want to give that a try.
Plus fill this out so everybody knows exactly what your dealing with.

Frankly, I don't use nutes. I experiment with them, and so far I keep coming back to just using FF OF. The FF nutes are a whole system not to be used as just one additive from what I have learned.

Sorry Shennen, I really was looking for some pics the way it was worded...Keep an eye out for more mites...it's rare you get rid of them that easy! Ask Santa for a Hot Shot No Pest strip....it's the gift that keeps killing mites as they hatch! And give them babies some time to recover....they may amaze you with how hardy they are! I would not add any more nutes until they start recovering from the mite problem.
Oh Rainhaze....I don't know how I missed 'em...the haggard ones right over there? I musta been high...LMAO! That's the first time I've ever heard plants described as "haggard"....good visualization word tho...I gotta remember that one...
Merry Christmas!

should i even bother with nutes?
Thanks for the replys, I know you guys can't see how bad they look, im sccared to take pics. I did some research though and think its nute burn or ph problem. I really need help, cause I guess I haven't gotten feeding figured out yuet. They are getting dry and I can't find answers, please help.
I have two ph pens and a dropped test kit, the three each tell me something different. I noticed recently that I've been putting in signigicantly increased amounts of ph down into my gallon water jug. Tap is comin out now as 8.8, used to be lower like 7.0 but I think that pens broken so I got another. This ones more accurate and consistant, and more expensive. To get down to 6.5 I added one tablespoon of ff grow big, and it went down to 8.4, then I had to add SO much ph down, I was like wtf?
So I tested with my dropped, and it turned BROGHT red, according to that bottle, means 4.0 or lower???????
Its hard to get accurate with the dropper test though, as its kinda like what the light in the room does to the color? Know what I mean?
I don't get it, they need food bad but I don't wanna make it worse, please help my ladies get pretty again.
Ps, I put in about 4ml of ph down? Dumped it out when dropper came back red.
Also, water I left out for testing purposes came back higher from 8.8 to almost 10.0, after a week of sitting out? Is this normal?

Also if i were you id get some 4.0 calibration solution and calibrate your pen. Also get some Ph up and Ph down to make sure what you are putting in is at the right Ph. If its low you dont want it lower and could lock ya out. If i were you id flush 3 times the amount of water thought the soil, then add ph'ed water and then figure out the nutes. But get the trouble shooting form filled out, it will help the people you need to help you.
Good luck:rasta:
