I have buyed them in Holland, 5 x PLL 55 growing and flowering.

This light is working really good.

    The results are amazing.

I hope you can buy some in Ireland.

    Merry Christmas.

    Hey irishbud,
If you're able to DIY you can get bulbs, ballasts and sockets in there. You can make an effective reflector for them as i did here.

If not, go European grow websites to get 220 volt or simply use an adapter to convert from 110 to 220V. That will cost more for sure.
OR make a search on Irish electric stores. I'm sure you can find similar fixtures there.
I just found one: Excel Lighting - Surface Fluorescent Lighting
I'm sure you can choose bulbs spectrum when ordering these. But it seems have a dimmable ballast and some more not necessary things with it. You can make a good search and find only the fixture itself or with normal electronic ballast.

tevfik that light setup you have looks great. i done what you suggested i went out and bought the bulbs ballast etc, they had to order them in. i got 4 55w 6500k 2 80w 3000k and 2 55w 2700k. now how many plants did you have under your 4 bulb pl-l setup? and what did you use for a reflective is that mylar?

Wait, there is sth wrong with it. What kind of light setup you're thinking about? You should buy all the lights in same wattage. Otherwise it will cost more. each ballast can run 2 bulbs in same wattage. This mean you will run 4 6500k with two 55w ballast. But for flowering you'll need one more ballast for 80w bulbs. Or you need wide range ballast which i didn't see yet. Even if it is exist I'm sure its much more expensive.
As i understand you want to run 4 bulbs at once, right? So, 3x6500k and 3x2700k/3000k can be enough. 55w or 80w its your choice, more is better. You can mix the spectrums and by doing this you save money for 2 bulbs. Or you can just buy 4 blue and 4 red as you did but same wattage. Not a big deal.

My bulbs are 36W and 4 of them fully covering two plants and partially 2 more. I have 5 plants in my cabinet but it seems its not enough for five (i mean the cabinet) Could be nice with 3 plants.
reflector material for the cabinet is called diamond shape reflector. Similar to mylar. For the bulbs i just bough half meter of antidetect reflector coz it is easy to give shape to make reflector and stable

I was goin to veg under the 4 6500k bulbs and flower using the 2 different watt red bulbs. i got the 2 80w bulbs just to have extra lms using just the 4 bulbs so it was more lms than when they were under the veg lights, are the 3000k lights not as good as the 2700k? is it better to use all the same type of bulbs for each stage of growth?

You can remove 80w or 1x55w expenses or you can use 4x55w and 2x80w for flowering. I'm sure you'll need to add some more light during flowering than you think, probably will en up like this

    Examples:
First start with 2x55w 6500k. Plants will be small and nearly fit under those. Keep the bulbs close to each others so plants can get all the light. When they're bigger you can start using 2 more 55w 6500k and after a while start training (LST, SCROG, topping etc). After that you can separate the bulbs equally on top. Change two of this 6500k to 2700k spectrum and run 80w bulbs too.
    You'll be using 2x55w 6500k, 2x55w 2700k and 2x80w 3000k for flowering.

    Or,
If you're not going to use 6 bulbs for flowering then one of the 55w ballast is not necessary. Bulb is cheaper than a ballast.
    Here 4 bulbs option:
    2x55w 6500k
    2x55w 2700k
    1x55w ballast
    2x80w 3000k
    1x80w ballast
You can start with 2x55w blue for veg same as previous. When they need more light, add 2x80w and continue vegging (If you don't feel comfortable with using red spectrum for vegging then you can just buy extra 80w blue spectrum bulbs. Better than extra unnecessary 55w ballast and bulbs). When you feel ready for flower change 2x55w 6500k to 2700k and flower.

There are not big difference between 2700k and 3000k or between 6500k and 6000k. Nearly same. You can use as you think or mix spectrum however you like. More blue for vegging and more red for flowering. That's all you need.

    Welcome mate!
5 euro is very good price for 55 watters. Couldn't be cheaper than that.
I would like to see how will your grow be for sure.
BTW I'll add pictures of my new setup in couple of hours to my log. Check it out.
