3 weeks old plant yellowing and spreading outwards!!

    Hey guys,

I have been a long time READER and SEARCHER here on cannabis.com but now i need to interact as im growing myself a couple of babies

First time grower, I'm growing 2 plants (bag seeds from great bud), germinated them and planted them in small containers. After their 2nd week, i transplanted them to bigger pots with the same soil type to avoid any possible shock. I'm growing indoors with 2 swirly 24w cfl + 1 45w cfl lights on 24 hrs and a fan blowing 24 hrs

I'm using 1/2 the dosage given on fish nutrient of 14-10-10 and i water (spray) them daily as the soil gets dry quickly.

Now it's their third week exactly, they both are growing fast making daily changes but however, one is growing faster and bigger where the second plant is getting yellow spots that started in the center and are moving outwards towards the leafs edges.

I can't afford loosing the plant, i need to cure it if there was anything wrong with it. I read that it could be nitrogen def, also read that it could be nute burn. Im not sure.. considering that the other plant is perfectly green and looks healthy. I attached a photo of my sick baby and would appreciate any help.

    Thanks y'all.

Maybe try backing off on the nutes for that one. See if it gets any better?

Do i need to flush it? or backing off the nutes would be fine? I stopped the nutes for 3 days now and the yellow is actually moving outwards towards the leafs edges leaving the center green again.. Is that a good sign?

    Thanks and peace!

If you are spraying them daily with nutes then you are burning the plant. That is WAY too much nutes for the size. I would nute them every 3rd watering with 1/4 strength. In the meantime, I would definately flush the soil with the correct pH. Flush with 3 times the size of the container with water pH adjusted between 6.3 and 6.8

What soil are you using? With a good soil like fox farms you shouldnt have to add anything to the soil besides water for the first month, month and a half. Another thing when you transplant you shouldnt have to feed again for another 2-3 weeks cause your adding more fresh dirt with food in it. At least thats what i do and it works every time for me.

Well just a tip- don't let this small complication get to you, you'll be fine. Don't over water which is something we all have been guilty of and work your nute amount up little by little after every two waterings plus this allows you to see how much and how often does your plant want nutes. Some genetics are more delicate than other however it's better to be safe than sorry and to avoid from having your meds be sabotaged. Oh and let the soil dry up enough to where it's dry about an inch and a half down from the top soil. You'll see your plant thanks you for being so gracious..but worst case scenario it'll either die or just hermie on you- practice makes perfect..try again if you have to.

Good luck and I hope you yield a good amount..

its ur PH . add about 1ml of white vinegar to every 5 litres of water, u should see an improvement in a few days. soil mediums can be abit silly when it comes to PH problems . i use bio bizz organic soil and i have to cheack the ph all the time.

That's a good sign. This damage looks like happened only once and effected very young part of the plant. After your mistake (whatever you did) things back to normal and looks like you don't need to flush or balance your PH for now.
Be careful with watering and feeding.
