    Drying Buds/Curing

This bud is in its third day of drying (a test bud before harvest), and the pistols that were white before cut, are now turning yellow. I really don't have any particular question about this, but more of a curiousity... Can anyone explain this? Experienced it? Normal?

This is a first time grow, by the way. I've included the best pics that I can get.

Very common. If the pistils were mostly white at harvest though, you may have cut too soon. Everyone has preferences, but I think I would have waited.

Yes...the bud keeps growing slightly for a little while after you've harvested...well maybe growings a bad word choice....it keeps maturing. Perfectly normal. Watch it do this with magnification with daily checks...it's cool!

It looks like a sativa someone I know grew. It had airy-like buds too.

That's what it's all about, eh? How about elaborating on the smoke test...1 hit? 2 hit? Taste? Every single bagseed plant I have ever grown was soooo much better than the bag it came from...makes ya wonder how they eff it up in packing/shipping so bad...

Yeah, definitely a feeling of satisfaction.

Head high, definitely earlier than I wanna harvest. I'm looking for an anti-anxiety, help me sleep kinda thing... I was hoping for a new years gift to myself, but looks like I'll have to wait another few weeks.

It is not so much packing /shipping as it is the way it is dried and stored. Most every kind of merc around here never is completely dried and I swear to god it gets "coated" or "sprayed" with something. I can take a 10 week flowering strain, hack it down after 6 weeks and still kick the shit out of anything around here. The biggest difference in it all is the grower. I give a shit about the quality of what I grow and want the best I can get but the others just want cash and dont care.
