hello, please help
Its my first grow and i started from hydro - probably not the best choice.
I have Big Bud 1 month old from germanisation and skunk1 - about 18 days from germanisation. Both of them are still in Cubes only.
Big bud wilting, leaves don't fall off but I am more and more afraid.
I use following nutrients:
- IONIC hydro (grow)
-Superthrive
-liquid silicone
-plant magic- root stimulat (use from about 3 days)
- atazyme ata - enzymes form 3 days
-balsamic vinegar because I still wait for PH +- to arrive.
- sometimes I add little H2O2
I use bubbler.
Due to big flood and drain tables (100 litres ) i water them manually 2 times a day.
Ph of solution is constantly rising so I adjust it before watering.
New solution every 4 days.
I use desk fan - constant flow.
Humidity is too low - usually 40% but i dont think it might be the reason
I sprayed them once with PLANT VITALITY as a prevention.
600 HPS - hanged about 60 - 70 cm above plants.
tempereture - it rised up to 28 couple time but i solved that problem today (shut off the radiator :stoned: )
water in my region is hardish but not hard
I check roots on the bottom of cubes - few end bith were black - I think thats sign of dry out - my girlfriend forgot to water them once.
The problem started about few days ago.
maybyes superthrive + atazyme + plant magic root stim. is too much or something ?
And little skunk1 - the problem is that those tiny first pre leaves ( I forgot proper name) - round ones - turning yellow, I thing the proper ones slightly turning yellow as well but it is not visible on pictures.
Please help me. What that could be ?garrettbjj Reviewed by garrettbjj on . wilting hello, please help Its my first grow and i started from hydro - probably not the best choice. You've started with Hydro, but your girlfriend for got to water!? :wtf:
There's lots of things wrong with your first post,... and I'm NOT a hydro grower!.
So K.I.S.S.!!!!!
Or Keep It Simple Stupid!
It doesn't sound to me like you have the proper equipment for Hydro, and the supporting pics seem to agree.
Your big girls seem over watered, the little girls seem nute burned.

I have never done ebb & flow, but I would recommend putting some type of media (like hydroton) under those cubes. Right now with them sitting on that flat plastic I doubt they can fully drain.
All the flood tables I have seen have channels for the water to run off, allowing your growing media to dry out.
Glad to hear they are perking up for you. :hippy:

Do you think thac I could transplant them to soil together with cubes ? would it be ok ?
thank you, I think you are the only person who respond kindly

Thanks for the kind words, and not sure on the big cubes to soil. I have only done aero and dwc, no soil yet. My guess would be that big cube would hold too much water in the soil.
I started with hydro, have had tons of problems, but am hard headed enough that it's finally coming together.
Best of luck to you on your growing endeavors and keep reading, reading, and did I mention reading.? :hippy:
