    Question about Watering?

I was looking around and can't seem to find the answer to my question:
->How can you make the soil dry out faster?

I put my germinated seeds in my soil (I had put MG soil in a small cup and wet it 2 days before putting the seedling in it). Put the germinated seed in the soil and gave it two small sprays from a spray bottle. The soil is still wet. The soil barley ever dries out and im not sure why. I put holes in the bottom of the cup and watered until the soil was wet but NOT muddy and let the extra water drain out.
Any suggestions? I am not using a fan yet because the seedling has not come out of the soil (it was not 100% germinated to my likings but I moved it to my soil)
This is my second grow attempt, first failed after 1 week =( but I learned from it.

    Question about Watering?

This also relates to watering so I'm not sure if I should make a new post or not..BUT.... when flushing do you just add the same water you have been using to the pot? (without any nutes etc)... you just keep pouring the water into the pot and let the access water drip out the bottom?

Add 20% perlite to your soil mix and keep temps up above 75 degrees. Don't plant seeds too deep..1/4 inch loose soil.
    Keep moist, not wet.

Generally people advise clean, proper ph water, poured slowly each time is more effective. No set amount.

    Question about Watering?

I have a grow 'closet' and I find it hard to keep a steady temperature.
Right now mines is about 20 Degrees C sometimes 21 or 22.
I try to keep it at around 23 though. Any suggestions for a steady temp?
The soil is still wet from when I watered it before planting the seedling. After planting I gave it two light sprays and put a plastic wrap sheet over them.

One seedling came out and the other one is still under the soil
I'm going to keep watching them though. (it's only been a day)

    *75F= about 24C
    My 21C= About 69F

->I try to get it up to 24/25C though

    Question about Watering?

A little space heater with tip over protection if you can squeeze it in. Also a plug in radiator that has water in it. Again if space permits.
I could be aggravated at work instead.

    Question about Watering?

Yeah I have a mini heater which I usually keep in there. When it's in there my temperature is quite stable
I'm not sure what a radiator is and how much it costs :S... I shall look into it.
I will try to get a picture up of my setup

    Question about Watering?

I put my germinating cups in a cabinet over the refigerator. Heat rising from the back keeps temps about 80 degrees...

    Question about Watering?

    That's a good idea
But I don't think I would be able to get away with that.
-Another thing how long do you think It will take me from where I am now to harvesting?
    Strain: Bubba Kush
    (I'm guesssing about 1month veg/2 month flowering?)

as defined by Webster "any of various heating devices, as a series or coil of pipes through which steam or hot water passes"

You can buy them in Home Depot, Lowes, Ace. Usually around $40. It's radient heat, easier on the plants than a forced air. Runs on 110volt :stoned:

Sounds about right. It all depends on the growing enviroment (light, food, ext.). Also your preference on the trichomes. Indica grows faster than sativa. It can be done in 3 months but may take longer.

IDK about your drying problem. !st post was a week ago, did you find a resolution?
