Green Dragon: 151 v.s Everclear

Sooo guys, this will be my second round of attempts with green dragon, and I'm wondering, for those of you who have used both Bacardi 151 and then switched to everclear or some other 95% (give or take), was it worth the extra bucks??

I've used both proofs of Everclear & 151 rum. I now use the rum - it's a little cheaper than 151 Everclear (Potters West Indies 151, not Bacardi). I got a 1.75 liter bottle of 190 Everclear & used it for tincture; I don't think it was worth the extra expense (151 is the highest proof sold in CA)

151 has more water in it and is only 75 percent alcohol compared to if you spent the extra 5 dollars and got some 97 percent alcohol. The latter can be evaporated to a much smaller amount because only 3 percent of the initial volume will be left. Instead of 25 percent... You can evaporate it the entire way and make ethanol hash oil.. The 97 percent alcohol that is.
