i finished my first indoor grow recently and now have been drying my buds in my closet. i have a circulating fan in the closet but not pointed directly towards the buds. they are hanging (fully trimmed) across some string by the branches.

i have been drying them for about 9 days now and the stems to not snap unless i pull the bud off. i heard to start the curing process when the stems can snap. my question:

does the stem have to snap by simply pulling back on the bud for the indication to start curing process?

i heard to cure buds, you place them in an air tight glass jar in a dark place. i also heard to open the jars for about 15 minutes a day to prevent mold. is this correct?
