Plants in different stages at the same time?

    Hello!

I'm a new grower, using an indoor 80x80x160cm grow tent and a 600W HPS lamp. We recently got the grow tent, and already had a few pots growing outdoors. One of the pots has a plant that only very recently started flowering (small buds), and another pot had cutting taken from the plant that started flowering.

The flowering plant is not very tall, we wouldn't mind if it grows more before getting info full blooming mode. What would be the effects of placing both pots in an 18 hours light cycle for 2 weeks? Would the blooming plant be able to later flower correctly when we move to a 12 hours light cycle, or will it get permanently damaged?

    Thank you!

If you started vegging again a flowering plant not too far into flowering, it will increase the grow tips/budding tips once it starts vegging again. It will take some time for the turn around to take place. Its just the nature of the plant. Or this is what I'm finding out through my own experience.

I would go longer than 2 weeks....a month maybe. Otherwise I think it could stress the plant to nanners. I feel it should be completely in one phase or the other, veg or flower or the plant will be confused....I can't remember the botanical words for that.
