So, yes the system is corrupted and polluted with money to where the shopkeeper, the real small business owner, or small family farmer couldn't get elected.

The large majority of elected officials are parasites bouncing from one lackey job to another, continually fucking up the system. I have no hope left for the future of this country in its present state and elected officials. Greedy, self-serving assholes. :twocents: :lol5:
I actually agree wholeheartedly with your comment. But I DO keep voting and I DO keep fighting. It is all we got man. I still have dreams that we are going to be able to turn this around someday.

...and thankfully there are more out there who do keep up the good fight than those who have given up. Slowly but surely, progress is made and good wins out over evil. The founders were wise and our constitution is a marvel. Over time, "we the people" are heard in this system. I vote because I really believe that.

Me too. IMHO all you're voting for is a big green head anyway . . . no matter who your candidate is.

    Why should i vote?

well, I can think of one good example where voting paid off ... Arizona last fall. med use won by like 400 votes. what if those 400 people had decided to blow it off that day? :twocents:

other than that, yeah, I'm among the walking dead, too, I'm afraid. I voted '08 cause I thought McCain would make a decent commander in chief but before that Bubba kinda turned me off the whole presidential voting thing. He won but he arrested more cannabis users that any of the assholes before him. :wtf:

    Why should i vote?

Those who don't pay attention to politics are ruled by lesser men than themselves.

I am not sure who said it but I believe it. Voting only takes a little while and it is an important action. There are people in many parts of the world who do not get to vote and who do not get to determine their own fates. Consider yourself lucky for having the oppurtunity.
