Exercise that vote by getting to know those running in your district.. who they are ... what they believe in. Don't listen to the nay sayers who tell you that all politicians are bad, it simply isn't true.

Become a part of the system and take a stand for what you believe in! This is your right as an American and if you don't at least try to influence a small part of the system with your vote, then frankly... you have no right to complain about anyone who is involved with it. If you want to be a non-participant, that is your right. But then you also give up the right to complain about the system that the rest of us participate in.

I wish it were true. We have no real representative government. It was meant that anyone, from the little guy to the big guy could have a voice. The voice of the little guy has been stifled. More lawyers and lobbyists and lackeys then what the Founding Father's intended. So, yes the system is corrupted and polluted with money to where the shopkeeper, the real small business owner, or small family farmer couldn't get elected.

The large majority of elected officials are parasites bouncing from one lackey job to another, continually fucking up the system. I have no hope left for the future of this country in its present state and elected officials. Greedy, self-serving assholes. :twocents: :lol5:
