WHO KNOWS OF FRIENDLY DRs in THE AREA!!!

If any of you want to get in touch with me, I would be glad to offer a few names. I'm not keeping secrets here. I'm sure there will be even more types of docs writing recommendations in the near future as well as clinics opening.
If you think your DRS are gonna get a new patient and just simply write the recommendation, you know this is not true..IF your suggesting you know a DR that will write this for FREE..PLEASE send that info this way..NOW lets wait and see if i get an email with a DRS info that will do this...UNTIL THEN I HAVE A dr that is Compassionate and understands i cant visit him 15 times before he decides he will write this for me...I pay for my Dr visits so im not willing to pay out WAY over what this DR gets donations for his recommendations.Who WANTS to pay IF they can get it from there DR normally,BUT 90% of patients cant get there Drs to even consider it.

While I have my card my wife, who gas a broken back with all the accompanying hardware, does not.
    My PC doc wont sign.
The doctor that I got my card from is not referring any more patients.
My wife needs a doctor who is familiar with the law and the pain relief that cannabis can provide.
If anyone can help please contact me.

OK kids, please stop fighting. The biggest problem is a huge amount of people are just looking to smoke legally and ruining it for us who really need it. Once people find out a Dr. that prescribes they get a surge of people (legit and not) looking for a hook-up, thus burning the bridge. Don't believe me look a the surge in patients over the past two years. It happens in windows and cost a lot of $$$ in visits just to see if you have a shot.

I know it sucks but that is the nature of RI...

Even my Dr. won't prescribe anymore and they came referred by RIPAC. If you pay a Dr. extra, you run the chance of getting your license pulled because that is illegal and if they'r caught, they loose their right to prescribe... Guess who else looses their license to use...YOU DO!!!

In CA, they simply don't care because they would prefer you stick to natural medicine rather then get hooked on the pain poison pills of modern day society. RI is still stuck in the 80's not the 60's...lol If you have a strong documented medical history with proof of failed pain management/PT then maybe you have a shot. The only way to know is ask their opinion of MM and go from their. Use the right terminology "MM" "Cannabis" and don't tell them you will smoke it or call it "Pot". Sorry guys and gals, yes it suck and will take time but you have to persist in order to enlist in the program.

Good Luck to all who need!!!!

WHO KNOWS OF FRIENDLY DRs in THE AREA!!!

I have lived in ma for some time and have many disabilities that Include Diabetes fibromyalgia, Chronic severe back pain after breaking my lower back and having 3 - 10 hour surgeries and take 4 percocets a day & 4 valiums a day due to the chronic pain, I also suffer Migrains, Rheumatoid Arthritis.

My search to find a Doctor to have a long term relationship with and receive my very long extensive medical record and history of my disabilities can get me off of the narcotics that are highly addictive and eating out and damaging my vital organs - liver / kidneys and prescribe or give me an Authorization to use medical MJ which is safer and will not distroy my vital organs.

I have been searching and reading boards and yes I spoke to an Intern named Jared who gave me the address to attend a RIPAC meeting and I also spoke to a woman via phone when I left a message and she called me back but for me at age 49 and walking with a cain it is very stressful trying to find a needle in a mountain of a hay stack.

I was told only 10% of Dr's will write a Authorization so why is it so hard for those who know who the Dr's are to keep it a secret and disrespect patients who deserve a better way of life to life pain free and help each other and make the medical marijuana community a stronger friendlier place to be.

That's all fine and good but nowhere in your post did you mention your intention to move to Rhode Island.....

Without that your post is moot !!

In responce to my comment about going to the RIPAC Meetings that I made here, I received an e mail from their Intern who responded to my e mail about asking if I could attend the meetings while still living in MA while looking for a house in RI and he said yes I could attend the meetings while still living in MA.

I do Apologize for the confusion...
