Depending on the employer, if you use cannabis or they find evidence and proof you do, you're pretty much screwed................but, in Oregon it may be different. The state has removed marijuana from schedule one, the data base is supposedly protected.........so maybe you can keep it secret and keep the job. Good luck. :thumbsup:

Cieply420 as I understand it, the Oregon state office will only divulge who is in the program to direct inquiries from law enforcement. In other words, if your neighbor calls the cops because he thinks you're growing, they call the OMMP office to see if you are a legal patient. They may still come check you out, but if you're in compliance, all is OK.

I don't like being on any list, myself, and the distrusting part of me just has to get over the fact that we may be vulnerable while we attempt to find relief for our ailments and open the closed and scared eyes of those who have bought the lies.

Generally deep background checks just check for credit, work and arrest history. So as long as there are no felonies or no arrest record for drugs you should be fine.
