    correcting myself

Somewhere in this general section, I corrected someone. Do not remember the post, nor the topic. But I do remember the statements. I was just in the reading room and reading about genetics and learned I was sorta wrong and the other party sorta right....depending on your position looking in to the topic.

So That person said something like: You could not get a plant to flower if the plant was not mature enough.

I disagreed and stated a plant will flower as soon as sent the lighting change.

We are both right. The caveat is that if there are no calyxes when sent to flower the incidence of hermaphrodism is greatly increased. Maturity will take longer if sent to flower before calyx development.

So clarification of the topic, sorry I cannot put it in the proper location. I never intend to purvey incorrect information, please accept my apology.

    Hey 'Wonder,

    Like RAINHAZE said.

The first sign of getting old is................................................ .................................................. .....................................I forget now.

Nice post tho, trying to keep things correct. Takes a big man to admit he may be wrong.
I have lost more posts and threads then I care to admit to. The best way to try and find a post like that is to go to your profile page, look at statistics, all your posts, and see if you can find your posting. Like I said I've got lots of experience in this department.

BTW you may find with your land race sativa it takes more then just being mature enough and having the photoperiod correct, it may need an additional clue like temp. Just thinking about it.

Thanks OM, I think I am in the ballpark for it, but.....will double check the local seasonal hi and lows in awhile. Appreciate the feedback.
