It is very sad to me that in todays "modern" world, we still have groups killing each other over religious issues. Makes me think that we are not so "modern" after all. If you think about it, we have only been playing with electricity for 100 years. I think we still have a lot to learn about many many things.

In my household, we know not to give children knives to play with and our children know that they must defer to their elders in all things as they learn to be adults. In todays world of political correctness, a person of liberal ideals tends to think that even our uneducated children in the 3rd world deserve access to advanced weaponry and an equal voice in our society.

I see that this problem is out of control now. I strongly believe that this will not go away until as a global society we put a stop to it. Maybe the concept of a world police is not a bad one in this case? There have to be consequences to these aggressions if they are going to stop. The bomber in sweden is now dead, but what of his trainers... his family... the society that produced him? As we correct our children when they make mistakes, these people need to be spanked... hard. Regretfully, at the present point in our sociological development, they will get away with this, and they will use this event and lack of consequences to bolster their ideas that god smiles upon them and that their goal to force a religious based society is a just one.

Sadly, I don't think that until something really really horrible happens, we will wake up as a global society and I see that we desperately need to stop this in a very agressive manner. I really think it is going to take the destruction of an entire city or worse to do this given the current politically correct mindset out there, and I pray that I don't have to see this. I can not see any other logical outcome to what is going on now though, so I smoke a lot of dope and try not to think about it too much. At least I'm happy. :stoned:
