This is actually #1 but whoâ??s counting?! Northern Lights #5 x Haze. Iâ??ve read quite a few reviews on this strain. It sounds like killer smoke. Iâ??ve had Northern Lights but Haze Iâ??m not aware of. Hereâ??s a pic of the lil survivor.

Hope you have enjoyed the show so far we are all caught up to the present. I think Iâ??m going to post new pictures at least once a week from now on.

I do need some advice. Last night I emptied and cleaned the small DWC setups. One has AK48 #4 aka. the giant and the other NL5XHaze #1. The root system is beautiful on the AK, inside walls of container were clean but I cleaned any ways. The one I had a problem with was NL5XH #1, when I went to check ph I looked at the new root system hanging from the net pot and thereâ??s about 2 dozen gnats. I cleaned this container very well, cleaned as many gnats from roots and pot as possible and refilled with nutrient water, Nova Grow and floralicious 6.2ph and 950ppm. I mixed up 1Gal of Gnatrol at 2tsp per G and watered all plants with and put in all 4 DWC w/ extra in the NL5XH containers. The Giant got same just at 1450ppm. This afternoon when my Veg. lights kicked on I went in to check up on the plantsâ?¦..weirdest thing Iâ??ve ever seen! Droplets of water at the ends of the leaves at the serrations on the Giant.



What is going on here? Anything I should be worried about?

Hello everyone, it's been awhile since posting new pics!! I have had my first successful cloning experience using the Ez-Cloner ! I've now moved those clones to the Pre-Bloom area and one of each over to my Bloom area. My Northern Lights #5 X Haze clones have begun to settle into their new home. One of them settled in earlier and better then the other two and is growing... well, like a weed! I'm down to only one Purple Bubba and as you'll see in the pictures it looks horrible but there is hope, new roots are emerging from the net pot it's in. I've also run into a problem with gnats, brought in by the clones from the dispensary. I spoke with the dispensary owner yesterday, he felt awful about me losing the 2 Purple Bubbas and the gnat problem. He wanted to give me 2 replacement clones but told him that wasn't necessary. Instead he hooked me up with an 8th of Cherry AK, 3 Cherry AK joints and 2 cookies!!!! Wow, wasn't expecting that but it was appreciated. To open space for the Pre-Bloomers, I've had to remove 3 of the AK48 plants that were either known male, possible hermie or weak female. I do however have clones of those that are being exiled just in case. I forgot to get pictures of the clonesâ?? root systems from the Ez-Cloner but most were hanging 1-4 inches from the cuttings. I did experience the slime on just a couple clones but in all only lost one of the 30. I will be vegging the pre-bloomers 7-10 days before setting them in the bloom room (which still needs a few final fixings). Til then Happy Holidays and thanks for stopping by!

This is AK48 #3, you may think this has a Nitrogen deficiency but this plant has always had the red stems. The soil it was put in was very rich. I'm going to keep this girl around for a little longer just to see what happens with The Giant #4.

Here's the best of all the clones I purchased NL5XHaze #2. 3 clones were taken from her 12/22/10.


AK48 #4 aka The Giant, looking good, doing great. The DWC system is great for this one (don't know sex). I have to change its water every other day. I can fill the container with 1300-1600ppm nutrient water and the next day same time the ppm is down to 800-600ppm and is missing about 3 cups of water. Can you say hungry bitch!? The clones that came off this plant were the last to root and one had to be tossed because of the slime.


NL5XHaze #3 has started to sprout normal looking leaves. The first ones that came out, after neem dunking and transplanting to soil, looked a bit weird. I may just put this one into the bloom area to clear some space!?!


Pre-Bloomers, I just got this tray and cover and they all fit nicely in it. I filled the tray 1/2-3/4" deep with water adjusted to 6.2 and 650ppm. I'll probably remove the cover in a couple days.


Here are some new clones and a few old ones that didn't quite build a substantial root system so I decided to give them a little more time in rockwool. The top row are all clones from 12/8/10, plus the 2 left ones on the 2nd row. There are also 3 NL5XHaze clones on the bottom row left side.


And lastly here are the 5 chosen to be sexed in my tray system that worked well earlier. Once the bloom area is finished these will be going into their own containers. I filled the tray with 600ppm grow nutes to help with root growth. I'll be switching over to bloom in 3 days.

Good morning!!! I haven't posted since 12/22/10 and I noticed my thread has been getting alot of looks :thumbsup: and know everyone is wondering whats been going on. Well first I'll update you with the AK48 seeds:

#1- definite male (kept 2 clones)
#2- definite hermie (kept 2 clones)
#3- female/ slow veg. but looks good once blooming
#4- FEMALE/ super veg., super bloom, super plant
#5- male (kept 2 clones)
#6- female/possible hermie stretches alot in veg. and starts flowering quickly
#7- male (compost)

Now I'll update the clones purchased from the dispensary-
Northern lights#5xHaze:
1 clone is a huge mother took 15 clones 12/30/10
Other 2 clones are healthy but not as vigorous as the first one. I've pulled as many clones as I could and on 1/8/11, I put them into the bloom area.
Purple Bubba Kush:
2 are still dead and the 1 survivor is doing better (not by much)! Spoke with the dispensary where I purchased them. They felt bad for the loss of 2 clones, the stress on the other 4 and that bringing them in to the grow area has brought on a fungus gnat epidemic(proactively working on curing this and cutting down the infestation so it doesn't reach the bloom area!). So they hooked me up with some edibles and a few Cherry AK joints!! They wanted me to take some clones but I declined (my veg area is super cramped).

A couple significant things happened last week! First was I found out that AK48 #1 is/was a male . But on the other hand AK48 #4 is a female !! I thru out 8 pre-bloomers/clones of #1 which opened some space. 4 more AK48 pre-bloomers were moved into the bloom area, now totaling 8- AK48 clones in the bloom area. I've also moved the 2 smaller NL5XHaze clones to the bloom area. They are in dirt and I clipped as many clones off I could before putting them in there, I've been reading they may explode in size (maybe 3X's)! The clones I cut 12/30/10 have seen better days, after checking temps and Ph in EzCloner reservoir I forgot to turn pump back on twice ((1/2 hour-45 mins. max. each time) :stoned: stupid). Only 3 clones are showing roots but they're only 12 days old. Last batch, I took the few that didn't root and planted them into rockwool and all had root system in 3-5 days. I've also figured out the automation in the bloom area. Tray are in, reservoir is in place and drip system is plumbed (NO LEAKS!!!). The flowering plants are looking strong. I've now got them under the 600w HPS (the one I repaired) and they seem happy and comfortable. The 600 doesn't have any adjustment because of lack of room height(standard) and tray height, not much I can do about it now....

Buds are forming nicely, Ph was a bit high (7.8) in this pic. Notice the dripper system.....off the main line I've got 1/4" barbed "T's" w/ 2GPH drippers at the end of drip line. Any suggestions!? I've got them watering at 15 min. intervals. The lights come on at 6pm, so the pump kicks on at 5pm and 6 pm, after that they kick on every hour and half til 6 am, then once at noon. They seem to like this schedule. I had the pump come on half as many times and they didn't like that. They were folded over looking thirsty, turned pump on and could actually watch them perk back up!!
