    Alright here we got the girls just after transplanting into 1 gal pots. FFOF mixed with 20% perlite.
    [attachment=o262697]
    This is probably about a week to a week and a half after pic 1.
    [attachment=o262698]
    Here's a side shot of pic 2.
    [attachment=o262699]
    Here's a side shot about 4 days after pics 2 and 3.
    [attachment=o262700]
    And here we have a top shot of pic 4. Looking really healthy, but maybe a slight overwatering problem.

    Due to the overwatering issue and just for convience, I decided to add a watering system. What we have here is an 18 gal Rubbermaid tote with a 100gal/hr eco-line water pump pumping through a 1/2" ID black hose.
    [attachment=o262702]
    Here's the 2nd half of the watering system. 1/2 gal/hr dripper fed into a 1/4" tube connected to a dripper stake in each pot. Was thinking of going with drip rings instead of dripper stakes. If someone has input on that it'd definately be appreciated.
    [attachment=o262703]
    Here's a side shot about a week and a half ago. Overwatering becoming a serious issue here.
    [attachment=o262704]
    And here is last Sunday. I had just finished transplanting them into 3 gal pots about 2 hrs before. Once again FFOF mixed with 20% perlite. Also took clones while doing the transplant(Notice my homemade aeroponic/hydroponic cloner, I saved $200 making my own, hopefully it works.) Used Clonex Rooting Solution in the cloner. And we still have overwatering going on. Overwatering + cool night temps = (Drum Roll please) RUST FUNGI!!!!
    And that takes us up to where I'm at on the Plant Problem forum, but I'll throw some pics up here in a sec.

    Alright here's a pic of what it started out looking like.
    [attachment=o262705]
    Here's about an intermediate stage of it. At this point I started thinking maybe Mg deficiency so I treated everything with a dose of Cal-Mag 10mL/gal, but then after that I got to thinking it was only on 1 plant before I did the transplant. 2 days later it was on everything after I had been in there messing with everything doing the transplants. The next reason I started steering away from a deficiency is I'm growing in soil. How likely is it that all of them would go through this severe of a deficiency at the exact same time?
    [attachment=o262707]
    And this is the stage right before the leave completely dies and falls off. This picture is what finally brought me around to believing it is Rust Fungi after hours of google searching it.

    So after being on the Plant Problem forum for a couple days now, the 2 main conclusions are:

    1: Mg and other micronutrient deficiencies since I was using R/O water(I just switched to tap.)
    2: Rust Fungi

    The Mg and other micronutrient deficiencies should be solved by me switching to tap water, however I'm going to continue to use the Cal-Mag for the next 2 weeks(figured I've already bought it might as well use some.)

    The solution to the Rust Fungi is a bit more complicated. To the best of my researching abilities, I've found that using a Sulfur vaporizer is about the best way to treat it. From what I can tell it raises the pH level of the leaves to an unsuitable level for the fungi to grow on it. I also haven't found any adverse side effects as long as used properly and not within 2 weeks of harvest. So I've order some sulfur online(the pure sulfur meant for vaporizing is a real pain in the rear end to find, took me like 2 hours to find a place that sells it.) And I plan on building the vaporizer tomorrow. I found a really easy and cheap DIY on another cannabis forum site.

    So that's my plan. I've already cut down on the watering so that shouldn't be a problem anymore. I just really noticed it in my plants this week when things went wrong, but the funny thing is by updating this log today I've been able to track back to when it really started. Wish I would've been keeping this log a little more up to date, some of you experienced guys probably would have caught that along time ago. And that might have prevented my problems now. I'm gonna try to keep this log more up to date from here on out. Like always if someone has suggestions, advice, and or comments feel free to send them this way. I'm always looking for help.

    P.S. Anyone know why I have disabled rep? Did I offend someone? Give bad advice to peeps(I try to keep quite and listen unless I've got a good idea what's going on?) Just Curious, no big deal everything still works and I've still got access to the site.

    FIRST INDOOR GROW: WHITE WIDOW AND HIMALAYAN

    Hello everyone, I know it's been quite some time since my last post. Sorry about that, but have been extremely busy and the plants have had nothing but trouble since the last post. We've fought off a Mg deficiency, ballast trouble, timer trouble and probably a couple more things I've forgot to mention. The timer problem really caused an issue and sent my plants into early flower with all kinds of other lights on during the time they were trying to flower. Unfortunately took me about a week to catch this seeing as how I don't live with my plants, and only get to see them every 2-3 days. So after all the time and $ I've got into this I decided to set them back into veg. Surprising to me, this only took about a week and a half. Lost 1 plant to the Mg deficiency(didn't actually kill it, but got tired of nursing it along when other had been cleared up for more than 2 weeks.) Found only 1 male out of the 8 plants I had in my room(the 1 good thing about the light mishap), so got rid of him. The rest all showed of being ladies. And since it's taking me so long to get them all healthy and ready to flower, I had to cut the weakest link out to give more room to the remaining plants. So that brings us down to 5. I now know they are all ladies. 2 White Widow and 3 Himalayan Kush. Oh almost forgot, the aeroponic cloner had 100% success rate. I started with 22 cuttings and now have 19 three week old plants(3 cuttings were from the male plant and got scraped as soon as he showed.) I'll get some pics up and try to remember anything else I've got going on.:jointsmile:
