    THC Cells

Ive been growing my plants in a flowering stage for over a month now and i still cant see THC cells growing on the plant. Is there a certain point when the trichomes are supposed to start forming on the plant? Can anyone help me out with this? Is my weed going to be bad or something. This is my first grow so any help is appreciated.

Does your plant have pistils (white hairs) on it?
The trichomes (resin glands) should be visible when the plant has white hairs or shortly after. You will see the resin glands on the small leaves around were the buds form. When you say your plants have been in the flowering stage for a month, do you mean that you changed the photoperiod to 12/12 a month ago or do you mean that they started to flower a month ago? Because it usually takes about 2 weeks of 12 hour days before you see any signs of flowering.

usually by 3-4 weeks of seeing flowers the trichomes should start to be visably building up. what kind of lights do you have on them? low intensity light will often cause less trics to show up. and what strain are you growing? some bagseeds will not have too many trics, or they will show up late.

Actually, i came home and was made very happy. One of the plants atleast is starting to get nice and frosty. So im hoping that the rest are soon to follow but im not sure what type of seeds they are. I changed them to a 12/12 cycle a month ago or so, but they were so ready to bud that some of them started growing hairs almost immediatly. Unfortunatly i only have 3 floro's and a big flood growing bulb (way lack of funds). But im going to go out really soon and buy a reptile uvb light. That should help the weed out some.
