Well, I hope my SunBlaze 46 does the job, but I'm sure it will. My plants are averaging 2+" a week and I think its par for the conditions and light.

I've done full cycles under pure T5HO, solid 2700K, solid 6500K, and mixed.

No major difference. The 6500K ones seemed to have a sweeter taste, likely due to the higher blue.

    Right on!

Did you find growth to be slower at all, compared to HPS/MH lighting?

I would think that one could at least grow 6 to 10 plants under a T5. From my understanding just keep them short and the light close. Flourescent growing issues tend to be poor light penetration/intesity, lumens per sq. ft. I am going to set one up for my veg. but I wouldn't be scared to grow a entire crop under it. Just keep the plants short and squat..Happy growing!

Of course the more light (lumens/lux) the plants get (too a degree, one can overdue it) the faster they will grow, the heavier the harvest and thicker the buds. My personal recomendation for someone growing for themselves is probably a 600 hps. Its not TOO hot but provides the best exchange watt/lumen ratio. 400 hundreds are nice as well.....

In soil, yes. In hydro, I could not see a difference in growth rates.
