A person may want to look at some of the other threads about male/female identification. Usually (not always tho) I can tell you in the first 24 hours of sprouting if it is a male or female, but I will make you search for my posts regarding it. I have only been wrong once in the last 10 years of new seed sprouts........I dont' do that many seeds, I search for a plant and keep it as a mother until I get bored with it. Then I will buy a new species and check it out. Most don't meet my standards after about 3 flower sessions. (go 3 rounds to be sure of plant maturity.)

Anyhow, another tool to try out and see if I want to keep it in my toolbox for the garden......Appreciate the fresh idea.
WashougalWonder Reviewed by WashougalWonder on . Flashlight Gender Test! So I had a little extra time today and I thought I would share with everyone a very easy way to sex your plants the minute you think they are showing preflowers. It simply requires the use of a decent camera and a small pen light flash light. You can distinctively see the shape differences in both pictures. The male looking like a "spade" in a deck of playing cards. The female looking like a upside down cone. Hope it helps! GreenThumbDoc Rating: 5
