It's a drip system and I bet the water is on 24/7. Did that been there. Cut back on the drip. Use a timer and run 15 to 30 minutes every 2 to 4 hours. You need to dial in just how much drip time they need to do good at.
Right now they are very close to drowning.

root length ? please help
I water about 4 times a day about 2-3 minutes a time I am using the STG grow media so it retains quite a bit of water in the material, the heat stress was about 2 weeks ago, the water level is about 2 inches below the pot the only reason I am using the drip tube is because I am lazy and it makes it easy to water, I am doing a dwc I think Iam new to this so if I fucked up let me know so I can fix it.
this was a couple days ago but you get the idea it was harmed by heat stress and stunted growth but is now growing very strong leaves are very large and green no yellow or curled leaves

Stop the drip altogether if you want dwc and let the roots drop down to the water. I ran drip for a long time and part of the point is to not have a great root system because it is fed strong and on the rootball. No need for the plant to make nice roots but may do well.
Once the rootball starts to dry you will get some nice new white roots coming out. Have an airstone in there to splash just alittle. Once the roots get to the water you may want to drop the water level just a bit more.
If you keep the drip I would go only once or twice a day as your doing. the drip is nice to start but only caused us root rot problems in the end.
Maybe a little stress but your plant looks good.

Thanks for the advice I havent really gotten any sound advice until now so I appreciate it, I raised the water level in the rez by sinking two water bottles full of water that way I wouldn't use a bunch of nutes, and the roots are now in the water about 1/4" i didnt think this would work either but that was the suggestion I recieved, I will stop watering and remove the water bottles, I always thought I shouldnt be watering so much but thats what I get for reading on the inernet. do you think I should leave the water level up a little cause it is about 2-3" from water if I leave one bottle in it is prolly an inch or so from water

Leave the 1 bottle in to keep level up. An inch or 2 below net basket should still be popping water onto basket by way of bursting bubbles splashing up to basket. Like Loc says as more roots head for water and rootball forms you can slowly drop level down.
