Tax cuts for the rich do nothing but harm the economy--that's a fact. The huge tax cuts of the 1920s led to a disaster I'm sure we're all familiar with, and cuts under Reagan and Bush have been nothing but trouble either. Even for the middle classes, the higher their taxes, the higher their wages, if the money is being spent responsibily. In Denmark they're taxed an average of 52 per cent, but their wages are ridiculously high so it all more than evens out--plus they get free college education and health care. In the States this rule doesn't really hold, because most of the tax revenue goes toward masturbatory activities like bigger weapons and the War on Drugs--but regardless, tax cuts for the rich are purely disgusting, and the periods of great economic flourishing have always been those where the rich paid up high--such as the Eisenhower years.

IslandBorn, the issue is not Bernie Sanders, but tax cuts. It truly boggles my mind how working people can support the idea of a tiny wealthy elite being taxed LESS than they are!, but hats off to the propaganda system.

I like this bit by Bernie Sanders (see below). I just hope we can kill this thing in the house. What are the merits of giving a tax break to millionaires while we are running these kinds of deficits? Those at the very top will gain $43,000 for every million they earn under this unfunded entitlement (tax cut). Considering that this class has benefited the most over the past 15 years, shouldn't Rating: 5
