So I emailed the lady on December 1st and told her I've decided to drop-out.

On December 3rd I get a letter from a different lady saying I have been with-drawn from Rasmussen College.

Is this legal?

The problem here is that I've heard there's more severe consequences with getting with-drawn instead of dropping-out.

Anyone have any insight on my situation? Thanks..
Ive learned, from college in the States, that you do NOTHING by email in relation to academic issues, concerns, etc. Do everything in person, or at least by phone. I have been promised drops and INC's from professors in email, and they totally forget. Dont trust email when it comes to academic stuff, especially in college.
