Whipped Canna Body Butter
Ingredients:
6 oz of Unrefined Shea Butter
3 oz of organic coco butter
3 oz of canna-olive oil
1 gram of dry shift Keif
2 tablespoons of corn starch
1 oz of fragrance oil
In a double boiler, melt shea butter, coco butter. Add canna-oil, and keif let it go for 40 minutes temp around 140 degs. This helps to keep the shea butter from crystallizing and having a gritty texture when it cools. After the 40 min simmer move the oils to a bowl and put in cornstarch. Cornstarch helps make the body butter less greasy feeling. Mix well and put in the freezer for under 5 minutes. Take out of freezer and mix with a electric hand mixer for a few minutes. Then back in freezer for another five minutes. Take out and mix in your fragrance oils or your choice, Menthol for itch control or lavender for soothing times. Again mix with hand mixer. You will do this process, in, out of freezer and mixing until it starts to cool. Air will mix in and your oils will become harder and start forming peaks like cool whip. The color will turn from dark green to a light mint green color. You can then move to jars, cosmetic containers. Ect.
This is a product I created that helped me over come psoriasis that covered about 60% of my body. Which I now only have small flair-ups to deal with! Yes! Oleic acid binds with cannabinoids. Oleic acid in olive oil and shea butter helps these cannabis compounds penetrate the skin(carrier oil) as shown in UK studies done with rat skin. The CB receptors in the skin helps to regulate our immune systems which cause the skin to over produce skin cells that form psoriasis patches.sixfromCC Reviewed by sixfromCC on .
