Noob with a stoopid question

Hey hey! I'm new, dumb, and the search feature doesn't seem to be working for me...so I decided it would be a good idea to post my question in the 'new guy' forum, even though that's entirely the wrong place for it.

I'm trying to figure out how to use a concentrate a dispensary I've recently joined gave me to sample. It's a sliver of a solid brick of goo (hash?). Don't know if I'm supposed to try to chip off a fleck and top a bowl with it, or...I dunno. Probably should've asked, I know.

Asking another stupid question that probably belongs in the noob section, when I try to use the search function (I at least know I needed to try that before asking here), it tells me to add more to my profile before searching. Anyone know what info isn't marked with an asterisk but is still mandatory?

I cant get to any dispensary's where I'm at, but it kinda sounds like hash. Break off a small piece and stick a pin in it then light it to see what it smells like and then determine if it is indeed hash.

Not sure about the profile info, just complete your profile, and see if that helps. You will get your sig after so many posts or a certain length of time...I believe there is a sticky for first timers here about it, also check the faq's.

If you can't figure it out after following RH's advice, you should call the said dispensary and ask them what the sample you received is because you are having difficulty figuring out how to medicate yourself with it. I am almost certain they will be more than happy to assist you in determining what the sample is and the different methods that can be used to properly medicate yourself with it. (they want you to like the sample and come back for more)
