Especially after seeing the post that was made by someone who is obviously very pessimistic towards this forum. Those are the people who have always screwed up their grow because they just don't listen to experience they are "know it alls" who literally know jack shit.

FORGET a book for now.

I made no negative remarks regarding the cannabis.com forums, nor did I say anything about any of the members here.

notKeyserSoze, I forgot to comment on some of your questions.
You should have no problem identifying plant sex.They have distinct features. Female plants will grow pistols. If you have access to clones, then go with that. If you choose seeds, I would recommend feminized seeds, unless you have the space, time an money to cultivate many plants. If you do choose regular seeds. Grow them out, clone all of them, and throw those clones into flowering to determine which plants are male or female.

Thanks Lynhal. What I started to do is to read users older post before taking their advise on growing after bobhead's comments. This way I don't listen to everyone nor do I shut you guys out completely.

That is a great way to go. Read all you can and learn from the grow logs etc., you can find on here. :thumbsup:

Now I'm looking into LED lighting & hydro. My space is small (walk-in closet) and I NEED to keep odor down to a minimum. Im thinking of one of these "grow cabinets" but I dont know yet.

I would suggest trying to do one grow before a large investment in a cabinet, unless affordability isn't an issue for you. You just have to poke around with your first grow to see the ups and downs that you could come across. :weedpoke: Best of luck to you! :smokin:

You had to be referring to members on this board because that is where this new person started reading the stickies, which I applaud :clap: because most new members do not. You weren't coloring a true picture of the members here on cannabis.com IMHO.

I really hate those non informative posters who like to speak out of their asses. They like to post irrelevant information, posts that have nothing to do with the subject matter. These people probably have no experience or very little, or they have failed repeatedly therefore wanting others to suffer the same fate. These growers, for some reason feel that they should not share their knowledge but only hint at ideas, thus forcing n00bs to learn from the mistakes they make.

Again, you are painting a bad picture of the members of this board in that statement, as well. Quite a negative post all around, to be posting to a first time poster IMHO. The long time people don't hint at ideas and refuse to share their knowledge. That sort of statment has to come from your own negative experience and why would you paint that picture to a new person to begin with?

Because many growers have dedicated so much time and money on learning and perfecting a great growing technique, they don't like giving n00bs a learning curve. They become selfish, and many even turn into cash cropping whores.

My original post to our new friend, nKS, did not directly point to you by using your name because that sort of thing just is not my style. Perhaps if you go back and re-read what you posted as the first post back to nKS and put yourself in their shoes you might understand where I was coming from, and if not, I am left to wonder why you would use a forum you feel so much distaste and distrust for?

Me too! Because I have been reading this forum for years as a guest. I know that the knowledge base in regards to cultivation is one of the best on the net, IMHO. And MHO is regarded as a darn good one in gardening circles!

The information may come across negative or positive depending on the individual. I simply want to encourage n00bs to do their research. You don't like the way I presented my advice or opinion, that is fine. But please show some respect and stop with the false accusations.
