First off, Nothing is done at night! Much too easy for somebody to hide
in the bushes.
Second, Always meet in a VERY public place, I kind of lean towards McDonalds or some such, because you can arrive a little early, have a cup of coffee and scope out the surroundings. Also there are Always people around, which is a big plus.
I Insist that only one peason is to show up for the transaction. If I see more than one pearson, or it looks like there are some others who are a little too interested in me or my customer, then I'm gone.
The best way is to only deal with people you know, although that is not always possible
Check ID and MJM credintials away from your vehicle,. Only when you are convinced that they are verified, and that the surroundings look good and nobody else is interested in you, then go ahead. In this case, paranoia is a virtue.
So very sorry for your misfortune. There are evil people out there.
