Best Strains for Colo at 7,000 ft
I grew some killer weed with 400 watt, its really important to keep the light close to the bud and use a full spectrum bulb. That will get the trichomes nice and filled in/milky white.
If the light is too far away from the bud or shaded a lot, you will end up with a lot of clear head trichomes that don't get filled in.
My understanding is that the trichome structures form at dark, then when the light hits them they fill in.
A good ppm/ph pen helped me dial in my conditions a lot, plus a pocket microscope. I grow in soil.
Try a good hybrid, maybe JACK HERER.MtnLionCO Reviewed by MtnLionCO on . Best Strains for Colo at 7,000 ft I just recently shut down a 2 year grow because of frustration. I am giving my self a break. I want to restart this spring and was wondering what would the best, easiest strains be to grow at 7,000 ft in Colorado. I have a 400 watt set up and have had good success with Bannana, Lemon kush, TW and NL. Other strains that were more Sativa I struggled with. I dealt with mites till my eyes bled. I use GH Flora in Sunshine #4 and for the most part, have had good success with yields averaging 4 Rating: 5
