If these niacin touters had done any real research on how the body processes THC, they would understand that the rate limiting step to THC elimination is NOT the size of the blood vessels. It is the bodys Glomerular Filtration Rate. GFR is the rate in which THCA is filtered from the bloodstream by the kidneys. Niacin has no effect on GFR and neither does drinking excessive water.

The vasodilator claim and the so-called efficacy of niacin began way back around 45 years ago by the father of Scientology L Ron Hubbard. Hub was a crackpot who had no medical training whatsoever, charges $20,000 to join his sect, advocates total silence during childbirth, and claimed (along with his chief minions Tom Cruise and Brooke Shields) that niacin can cure anything from post-partum depression to toxic-shock syndrome. He also claimed that frequent pats on the forehead can "rid ones mind of demons". Is this the kind of source of (mis)info that you want to place credence upon to help pass a U/A?

In the drug testing forum, we tend to stick with proven factual info and not a bunch of junk science brought on by Hub, Cruise, and the rest of the wackjobs of the Scientology movement. Especially since careers, families, and freedoms are riding on the outcome of a U/A.

So why is the topic locked is a better question... that is an almost 5 year old topic. Some years ago bullshit information about how to pass drug tests ran rampant. In the years that have followed a few have stepped up to offer the truth and that's what we try to "stick" to here now

If youre taking a DOT test, then why not just cut to the chase and find a clean urine sample (or synthetic) to sub? Subbing is easy on a DOT test because you will not be observed unless you had been suspected of tampering, or if the test is a followup/return to duty test.

This is what I will do: Because DE is only 45 minutes away (it's where I buy cigs) I'm going to bring a copy of the bad batch numbers. I will buy it there and open it. If it's fake, money back on the spot.

If you were taking a DOT test "by choice" as youve indicated in your O/P, are you opting for a physical and if so, why?

And why would you want to shove the QF bottle up your butt when there are other hiding options available (see the Substitution sticky)?
