Canada to stop growing Tobacco

I read in the newspaper today that thge government is going to try and force tobacco companies to buy out tobacco growers so that it will no longer be grown in Canada. They said that the tobacco industry has been going downhill for a while, and that they are trying to slowly phase out the use of tobacco and (possibly) make it illegal. Hopefully this will mean that cannabis will be legalized.

Ahh finally, the govenment is beginning to come to their senses.

why would making tobacco illegal help us in the fight for cannabis legalization? if anything else i think it would make it even harder. the fight to legalize can only be won when governments realize that people have the right to put whatever they want in their bodies, be that nicotine, thc or acid. no one has the right to tell other people what to do with their bodies, especially government. why does govt insist on telling people what is good for them and what is not? this has to end. the US government has too much control over the lives of its citizens. the only way to win the fight for legalization is to take government out of our lives, or at least limit its powers much more than it is at present. fight the government, fight for your beliefs, but most importantly, fight for YOUR RIGHTS!
