Isn't that the point? People need to take responsibility for their actions. Think before you speak. Too little too late isn't good enough. Shouting fire in a crowded theater is a crime for a reason.

^ thats true, it is exactly the point, but ... it strikes me as bit unfair to pull IB's quote from before the tragedy. it is out of context, IB and I have been having an ongoing discussion about moose hunting in general that has crossed several threads, so its a bit disingenuous, I think to point out this particular quote, but I'm not going to argue that point. IB made a public statement after the event and offered his prayers for the family.

But I do agree that we need to watch what people are saying more closely and I think your shouting fire in a theater analogy is exactly correct, that is the same thing I have been saying. :twocents:

Blame Bush? Sure, there is plenty to lay at the feet of his administration - you know the routine, he started with a record surplus, ended with a record deficit, took us into a war or choice, left our economy in ruins, and on and on. It's not a mantra, these are facts.

But Palin? She is only guilty of being a money grubbing fool who roots for America to fail unless you are from Alaska in which case you might hold her accountable for abdicating her duties after 2 years in office but I don't really care about that though I do find it laughable. Obama has just continued Bushs spending spree, and instead of addressing the deficit and jobs, ideologue Obama chose obamacare.....and we all know how popular that is(chuckle), cost him his majorities and every penny of his political capital.
