Soil is much easier and forgiving as hydro can trip a timer and put your plants in stress they will not recover from. Im not knocking hydro, but as a beginner grower dirt will let you forgive it for not watering for a week, but hydro will not, plus just getting all the readings, nutes, lights and everything else.
Just get good soil and put 1 seed into its own pot 1/2'' deep and water. Keep the soil warm by sitting it on the cable box or something. It will grow and get big with big buds if you read. This site will teach you everything, but one thing and thats patience. So start a grow log here and grow in dirt, read and ask questions, because if you look back there wasn't a question ask. You can grow no problem, its fun too:thumbsup:. Il help too, so maybe start this as your log and you will grow nice plants. Its easy but reading is important, i read everyday and luv it.
So get seeds in dirt man. At least first try, cuz one slip in hydro, your plants are dead. Read my ''re pot thread in my Sig and look at the plants recovery time.
Il stop back, good luck and welcome:jointsmile:
