Experience with Power Plant or Blue Dream?
I'm trying to decide between trying a Blue Dream or Power Plant grow. Cost and time are considerations, so I can't just do both. I'm somewhat of an experienced grower, so I'm not intimidated by fussy plants.
I think I have had Blue Dream (my purchase was unlabeled, but from its appearance, price, characteristics and what was available in the area at that time, I'm thinking that's what it was) Whatever it was, it was the best thing in the world for my MS related mobility issues! I'm almost out of it now (I save it for "special occasions) and I want more!
I have also spoken to some dispensaries in CA, and they say a lot of people with MS do well with Power Plant. (I live in an illegal state)
I'm not crazy about indicas in general, and I have found that plants with a higher sativa component are really good for my daytime productivity. They seem good for spasticity and pain relief for me, too.
If you've tried either of these, I'd love to hear your experiences. I am particularly interested in how impairing they are (not so interested in being "altered"), how productive you can be, how much anxiety you have with them, pain relief, etc.
Thanks in advance!farmermo Reviewed by farmermo on . Experience with Power Plant or Blue Dream? I'm trying to decide between trying a Blue Dream or Power Plant grow. Experience with Power Plant or Blue Dream?
I've grown Power Plant and been very happy with the results. Easy to grow, not nute fussy. Very nice hybrid type of high, and a good smoke once it is cured.
I grow indoors, under 400 watt lamps, in soil (foxfarm mostly).
I let them reach a height of 14 to 16 inches in veg, and then put them under 12/12 where they stretched to about 3 1/2 to 4 ft. They take easily to topping, fimming and LST. All with good results.
I grew 7 last year and reaped about 2 lbs of finished bud, which I thought was quite a decent yeild.
Also grew some PPP outdoors with good results as well. ( watch out for bud rot if growing outdoors in damp areas).
I currently have some young blue dream which will be ready to flip to flower in about 3 weeks, or as soon as space permits, so I can't report on how well they do.
Nirvana's Power Plant ( feminised ) is what I used.

Thanks Randm999. I've actually ordered the PPP, so I appreciated hearing about how easy it was.
