hey guys.. another question. When should i start to 12/12 if i want roughly an oz/oz and a half yeild? the seed was either bubba kush or deep purp. Its currently about 5 weeks growing and 8 inches tall.. any help would be awesome. thanks

It's a strain and phenotype dependant ratio, and different techniques give varying results. Gain some experience with keeping them alive and happy before worrying about yield.

Some indica dominate strains won't even double in size in flower, but some sativa dominate strains will go 5X their size in flower. (or more) The average stretch in flower is near 3X.

How much headroom do you have to play with? Do you have the vertical height available for a 5 or 6 foot plant?
