The sources also say that seeds stored in a common refrigerator at 35-40 degrees fahrenheit will remain viable for at least 20 years, so I'd have to say you are in luck. Give it a whirl!
I responded to this but I don't see it so maybe I previewed instead of repllied? :stoned:

I did a research yesterday for frozen seeds and visited some seedbanks and did see that some keep them in the fridge, freezer and/or deep freeze. I am so stoked now and once this cold snap passes will be germing and gettting this little babies in the ground.

I am hoping to have some long forgotten strain that can be produced into something even more special with all the genetics available that were not available in the 80's/90's/00's ... with the help of the members here I know there could be something really unbelievable created. You gotta love nature!
Lynhal Reviewed by Lynhal on . 20+ year old frozen seeds I looked around for anything similar to my question in these threads but could not find anything remotely close. (I could have missed some threads, though.) I had a friend pass away recently who had kept seeds from the best weeds they had smoked starting in the mid '80s - early 2000's. They kept them frozen. They didn't note the strains or anything more than, "kicked ass" - "mellow" - "couch potato locked" - "fucking unbelievable high" etc. so I have no way of knowing what percentage of Rating: 5
