Can you work at a dispensary with a MISDEMEANOR drug conviction?

OK, I know you can't work at a dispensary if you have a marijuana/drug felony, but what if you have a simple misdemeanor possession charge from like 10 years ago? Would that disqualify you from working at a dispensary?

I don't understand how you can be a rapist, burglar, sex offender, etc. and work at a dispensary, but you can't if you had some herb on you at one point and got pinched?

Also, apparently some people don't think people's criminal backgrounds are relevant, but to me it seems that people committing more heinous crimes can likely be trusted less than someone who smokes some herb occasionally....

I can't help with the question... But I agree with what you said. I have been screwed by these "rules" a few times now.
Growing my own is not an option for me, as much as I would like to, so I am forced to go somewhere. I had a private cg but have been forced out due to patient count. I am questioning a recent choice and so I am looking around again. I have a feeling I'm not looking for long though......
