If you lived in the country or suburbs I would worry. But you live in an apartment complex where the odds are different. They could of been searching just about anyone. Besides if they were looking at you they would be looking for massive lighting like you would normally get from HPS or MH lights. I doubt your cfl's would be distinguishable from other lights in the apartment(s).
Now, how many people know what your doing? There should be absolutley no one knowing jack shit.
