Upcoming Urine Test

Hi,

I am about 5'10" and 175 lbs average build. I haven't been active for awhile besides work but have just recently started working out some. About a week ago I went to visit some friends and was pretty stressed from current things going on. I ended up smoking from Nov 26th night through Nov 28th with a last puff on the morning of the 29th. Before that I was clean for almost a year. I am a consultant and just got a notice about needing a drug test before a new project. I might be able to postpone the test til next week but not sure yet. I also recently took an at home test and failed.

I was wondering what my chances were of passing and if I could do anything to realistically improve my odds.

There are a few options, there are detox drinks that are almost gauranteed to work. There's also fake pee which works. If you go to a local hemp shop you should be able to find some sort of detox method. Those are the easiest ways to pass it.

I have heard plenty of conflicting information about those products. After further research I think I will try dilution method and hope that if the tests happens 2 weeks after last dosage there shouldnt be much left anyway.

Ya when you don't toke everyday it's substantialy easier to get out of your system

I think the dilution method in the sticky will work just fine for your considering you probably don't have a huge amount of thc built up. But since its an employment test i see no reason not to go with substitution since it's guaranteed to work provided you do it right, and assuming you won't be monitored.

A note on detox drinks: the general consensus on these forums, at least among people who know their shit, is that they are bullshit ripoffs. They rely 100% on dilution, which is why they "work", and you can do that for free with some water and vitamin B.

You can argue with me on this but i won't bother to try and disprove you. I'll leave that to someone else.

Detox drinks are a scam. They are nothing more than colored water and random BS ingredients that don't do a thing to rid the body of THCA. The makers of these scam products know that dilution is what really works and all they have provided you is with the first dose of water and a very expensive bottle in which to fill and drink a few more times.

I agree with you on the detox drinks but just wanted to ask and make sure.

I still have about 6 more days til the test so that should help on top of the dilution. I also might consider substitution if I can get some clean urine since I will be in a closed off bathroom for the test if I recall from the last time I took it.

It should be pointed out that the O/P didnt reveal how much s/he smoked during the period of 11/26-29. For all we know at this point, the O/P couldve smoked down a half-Oscar during that period. Quail, can you state how much youve smoked from the 26th -29th? That kind of info can go a long way in help determining whether substitution is in order, or if dilution techniques are still a viable option.

Quail, can you state how much youve smoked from the 26th -29th?

We mostly did smoked in groups so I say at most I might have got half an eighth or so.

Okay. 3 days before your scheduled U/A, take one more home THC test. When testing yourself, use the first urination of the day. If youre still failing the home test, then make an effort to find a clean sample from someone. It would also be a good idea at this time to begin creatine-loading and other preparations for dilution, in case a clean sample cannot be obtained (refer to the Dilution 'sticky' thread).
