you could try other hydro options too if you haven't done any yet.. Eb and flow is a cool one.. I forget what the name of the method is, but my plants will sit on a float in a tub of nutrient water with bubblers in it.. The media they're surrounded with acts as a fake soil sort of.. and holds in the nutes

ghetto version of that would be.. fish aquarium, styrofoam board that fits in aquarium laying flat, roughly one inch in from all sides.. with hole cut holes for net pots.. as the plants use up water/nutes, the float sinks with it.. Only big catch with this method is the concentration of the nutes constantly fluxuating as the plants suck down the water..
