Soil is slower.... how much slower? I don't know.
I can tell you aeroponics is the the most dangerous and unforgiving. Soil is more nature's way and it takes a little longer. In aeroponics you can look at your garden before you go to bed and see everything is just fine, and the following morning you could walk in there and its pretty well all dead. A pump didn't work or an electrical connection didn't work. Maybe the reservoir had a leak, and it drained out. In any case its dead. Start over, and you don't collect $200. In soil, if you go to bed one night and everything is great, and 3 days later you look in again, you might say, hmm, maybe it needs a bit of water...... I'm somewhere in between. I grow with coco coir. Its almost like soil, only I am in charge of any nutrients they need. Very simple, little can go wrong.

I am building my growroom now and have started with the lights "4-1000W digital dimmable ballasts and 8" vented hoods" as my first purchase. The problem I am having now is deciding which to go with when it comes to soil or aeroponics. I recently watched the See More Buds DVD and was really impressed with the results he got. So my question is what would produce more the soil or the aeroponics system? I am willing to spend the money on the aeroponics if it will produce more yeild. FEED BACK Rating: 5
