hydro or soil? Best yeilding?
Man, I would go with soil all the way to start. It's easier and with that lighting, you should be able to get a darn good yield. Plus, I agree with a previous post, growing in soil is more natural.
That being said, you've got to make sure the soil you use has quality organic matter (that holds all micro and macro nutes) and microbes (symbiotic bacteria and myccorhizae). When grown right with your lighting and a quality soil medium, imo your going to produce higher quality buds. Maybe not quite as much, but higher quality. IMO, its tough to imitate the natural biology that takes place in fertile soil and provide everything plants could use to maximize their physiological potential.
And then again, when you put your mind to it, your gonna produce quality buds either way.
