pain meds after surgery

i can make this weird cracking noise with my knee if i put a little pressure on it and move it. i was at my friends house doing it to piss him off(he said its the most disgusting thing he's ever heard), and his mom was there and she heard it. she said it sounded like cartilige and that i needed arthiscopic surgery or whatever. i was wondering if anybody's had that before on their knee, what its like and what kind of meds they got.

morphine,oc,vicoden?who knows,all the good stuff.

if you are really lucky maybe even fentenoyl(spelling?)

.. where are you Yoda ? in the uk you may well be given MST for post surgery pain. MST is a 12 hour slow release of morphene sulphate. I was on it myself some years ago after breaking my arm. Taking the recomended dose doesnt really give you a nod but take a little more and you will be gouching till the cows come home. A word of warning though, trying to come off is shear hell - full blown withdrawl symptoms.. I do not recomend this drug to anyone, and if i was ever offered it again i would not take it. Anyone who has gone cold turkey will understand i hope .

for the most part the knee is fine, but at times it hurts, times it feels numb, and times where it feels like when im walking its gonna collapse under the pressure i put on it.

i would get that checked out dude anyways, just because it sounds like it shouldnt really be giving you those troubles unless something was wrong with it.
