first grow attempt

well ive decided to start a grow. ive been doing alot of reserch and serching on here quietly for a while now jsut collecting information. and now i believe i have a good solid idea/foundation to start off of.

ive found an area that provides all my requirements, out of sight, good venting itno decrete location. my location is in an attick of a barn

my box itself.

-im going to make it about 4x4x6 ft box. seal it up tight as hell with one side that can be removed to acsess the plant for watering and transplaining and feeding etc

-i plan on painting the entire inside of the box flat white. im going to have one vent with a fan on the bottom pulling in air. and one vent with a fan on top exhausting. (my theroy is hot air rises so get the hot out on top and pull cold in thru the bottom)

-im going to place carbon filters at the top ofthe box near the exhaust fan to cut down on the smell. (even tho its a dicrete location i still wanna take caution in the smell)

-my lighting is going to be 2 high wattage CFL's located on top of the box with a round lamp fitting cut out to fit the lights. my question was, i remember reading that certain wattage are better for budding, which was it again?) and ill have all lights hooked up to a timer, and ran thru an extention cord thru the rafters to the nearby plug (about 20ft away)

-as far as soil goes i plan on usiong average store bought soil to start off.

- and when it comes time for me to transplant and start adding neuts and checking the PH ill probly use store bought fertilisers as well

my only problem is i have noone to get seeds from, ive considerd asking one of my buddys if they had a decent sack of green woth maybe a seed or two rolling around that i could use. but no luck yet. my only noobish question is tho. is this a good way to get a reliable seed. whats my best bet to get my hands on a seed that is going to give me a decent result? ive been smoking for years but this is my first grow so i may have one or two questions along the way.

(this is my first grow and i plan on moving the next 6 months. so untill i move im jsut going to do an average grow nothing to special. a "getting my feet wet" grow you could say0

Well the only other way to get seeds is either buy some herb with seeds in it, get a seed from someone you know, or order quality seeds online.

Remember if you use bagseed then you will have to hope for a female. If you order fem seeds online they will be fem and be great quality.

If you choose to order I suggest the attitude seedbank. Others use seed botique as well.
